The NGO Community Awareness and Development Association Cameroon (Cadac) launched on 9 September 2017 in Douala, with the support of the Orange Cameroun Foundation, a training program on the use of the “Slate” methodology, at the Ray of Hope Academy, a private non-denominational institution specialised in the academic monitoring of autistic children, we officially learned.
This training given to the Ray of Hope teaching staff and to parents of autistic children will, we learned from the management of the Orange Foundation and Cadac, enable to significantly improve the care of autistic children, as was proved by the “Slate” method in the USA.
This capacity building program for the professionals and parents of students at Ray of Hope Academy will take place throughout this month of September 2017. It will be led by the three founders of the “Slate” method, created in the USA.
