LAS VEGAS—Artel Video Systems will present enhancements to its DigiLink, InfinityLink and FiberLink fiber-optic transmission product lines at this year’s NAB Show. These platforms provide reliable, standards-based IP solutions that address the broadcasters’ growing requirements as they migrate from direct fiber to IP networks.
Artel Video Systems’ NEBS Level 3-certified DigiLink platform supports autosensing of broadcast-quality 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and ASI video formats, as well as Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) IP interfaces, enabling end users to bridge IP data for greater bandwidth utilization of a 10G Ethernet trunk. It also supports SMPTE 2022-1/2/5/6/7 IP encapsulation, optional forward error correction (FEC) algorithms, and seamless protection switching. This platform enables flexible configurations that maximize reliable performance while minimizing latency.
The company will also demonstrate its InfinityLink IL6000 broadcast media transport solution, a fully integrated 1RU, four-slot chassis with active routing and SNMP management. It provides video, audio and data transport over IP- and fiber-based networks, with support for 3G/HD/SD-SDI, DVB-ASI and Ethernet.
Artel will also exhibit the FiberLink 3500 Series, which transmits 4K/UHD video at up to 60 frames per second one way, with support for virtually every type of video, audio and data signal. Also, Artel’s DLC510 dual-port L-band demodulator and satellite scanner adds fully automatic L-band satellite-scanning functionality to its media transport solutions.
The 2017 NAB Show takes place in Las Vegas, April 24-27. Artel Video Systems will be in booth N4511. For more information, visit www.nabshow.com.
