Joseph Célestin Tindjou, the general manager of CCEI Bank Guinée équatoriale, a subsidiary of the Cameroonian banking group Afriland First Bank, has received the award of the best African bank manager in 2017. He was awarded during the Africa-Portugal forum which was held in Lisbon on December 6 and 7, 2017, official sources revealed.
Manager of CCEI Bank Guinée équatoriale since 1994, Joseph Célestin Tindjou has succeeded in making this bank, whose main shareholders are Cameroonians, the leader of the Equatorial-Guinean banking market, with solid fundamentals.
For instance, late 2016, the bank ,which is much involved in the development and economic stability of Equatorial-Guinea, amid the current economic crisis, declared an estimated equity of CFA150 billion and a balance-sheet of $1.3 billion ( about CFA715 billion).
